Applied Engineering Group is a consulting engineering firm specializing in a variety of types of buildings.

The Client (typically an Architect, Contractor or Owner) will come to us in need of Plumbing, Mechanical HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), and/or Electrical drawings or calculations for their project for building permitting and construction.

What You Provide:

• Floor plan should have layout for rooms, a use description, and a list of any equipment that will be used in each room.

• Ceiling plan to show ceiling changes and lighting layouts. (We can design and provide the lighting layout, if requested)

• Scope of work defining the extent of the work we are to provide (i.e., a full design of Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Alarm, a partial of only one discipline, or any variation in between)

What We Deliver:

• Requirements are calculated for the Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning, Electrical Power, Sanitary, Water, and Gas. The calculations consider the type of use for the project, the building or space itself, all equipment, lighting, and even the people utilizing the space. We also make sure to incorporate any requirements in accordance with the local building codes.

• Documents properly formatted for Informational use, Building Permit Submission and Construction. The documents typically consist of drawings with the floor plans and layouts of each discipline with noting and equipment schedules providing the necessary information for the construction process of the project.

• Updates to the documents if any changes are required per the building department or field conditions.
